Good hygiene is important to your pet’s health. Various ailments such as hot spots, ear infections, broken toenails, flea infestations, or abscessed anal glands can be avoided or minimized with proper hygiene. It is important to realize as well that when a pet is older or overweight, it’s harder for them to clean themselves after using the restroom, thus making it easier for urinary tract infections to thrive. Regular baths or grooms is about more than just smelling or looking good, it’s about providing your pet with excellent quality of life and keeping them in good health!
Center Veterinary Hospital offers regular baths as well as professional grooms by appointment. Our groomer is trained in all cuts from basic summer sheers to show cuts. Along with professional grooms, we also offer regular or medicated baths depending on your pet’s needs. Regular baths include an ear cleaning while grooms include a hair cut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and external anal gland expression.
Our groomer and bather are passionate about patient care and take great care of your pets during their time with us. If they see a problem on your pet during their bath or groom such as a hot spot, infected ears, or broken nails, they will immediately notify the veterinarian. With your permission, we will perform a physical exam and provide any necessary treatments.
Your pet’s health and well-being are at the forefront of our minds here at Center Veterinary Hospital. Call us today to schedule a bath or a groom for your fur-baby!
